Provisions & Warehouse Coordinator (FT)
Are you passionate about social justice, tackling local poverty and seeing people move from crisis to full potential? Do you enjoy supporting people as they develop healthy, independent living skills, taking a journey alongside them as they deal with issues in their lives which have prevented them from doing this.
As an anti-poverty charity Vineyard Compassion are employing a Provisions & Warehouse Coordinator. This is an exciting and varied operational role at the heart of Vineyard Compassion’s practical work. As Provisions & Warehouse Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day running of three key provisions streams:
RESET Social Supermarket — an online click and collect food service for people in need
Foodbank — managing the intake, warehousing, and distribution of emergency food parcels
Donations Centre — sorting, storing, and redistributing donated clothing and household goods
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our storage and warehouse locations on site, ensuring all food and goods are sourced, stored, and distributed in line with food safety and health & safety regulations.
You will be responsible to lead, grow and develop volunteer teams across all three areas, providing direction, training, and pastoral support to volunteers who will primarily fulfil the responsibilities of this role.
