Join Molly at the Hope Centre on Thursday Nights
Have you ever gone through a tough season where things felt overwhelming? A time when you were really struggling, and having someone to turn to made all the difference?
Many of the people who come through the doors of the Hope Centre are facing challenges like this, but don’t always have someone to walk alongside them. That’s where we step in, offering practical help, a listening ear and encouragement along the way.
If you know what that feels like, and you’d love to do something meaningful to support local people in that situation, this invitation is for you.
Watch the short video with Molly to hear your personal invitation to get involved.
This opportunity is to join us on Thursday evenings as part of a friendly behind-the-scenes practical help group at the Hope Centre. This role is not public-facing and does not involve hosting or supporting visitors directly.
Instead, the group will spend time in our food and clothes donation areas, bringing order to food shelves and sorting clothes donations for washing, drying, ironing and presenting them beautifully for our Hope Centre visitors. It may be behind the scenes, but your practical help can make all the difference for someone when they need it most.
Your help will be a real lifeline as we bring much-needed organisation to our storage spaces — and you’ll also have the chance to meet people from right across our community. This invitation is open to anyone living in the Causeway Coast and Glens who wants to give back and enjoy being part of a team.
There’s always time to chat as you work together, and tea and biscuits feature highly at any Hope Centre gathering ☕🍪 We’d genuinely love to have you be part of it.
And what better way to start February – it's a great time to do something positive in the evening as we look ahead to longer, brighter spring days.
