At Vineyard Compassion we have many different volunteer opportunities which can be as little as 2 hours per month, up to several days per week or one-off events. There are roles for all skill levels, ages and physical abilities.
Below are some examples with contact details for the staff overseeing this area – or feel free to contact our very own Volunteer Co-Ordinator Sue Gibson who would love to sit down over a cuppa and explain the different projects & roles available! (email her on email@example.com or contact our offices on 028 7022 0005
The Vineyard Market runs on the first Saturday of the month and is always so much fun! We start setting up the day before and then it is an early start on the Saturday morning, with clear up taking us until about 3ish. We would love to expand our wonderful team and invite you to come along and join in. There are multiple opportunities (setting up, overseeing craft stall, Compassion café, clear up, car parking steward) and various shifts (between 6am – 3pm). If you have a few hours to spare, one Saturday a month and would like to join us at the Largest Car Boot Sale, Farmers Market & Craft Fair in Northern Ireland then please contact Pat on 028 7022 0005 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The Link is an amazing project that looks to helping people get back into the workplace by offering a mentoring approach to doing handy work around the Compassion Site. We are looking for people who have trade skills (e.g. carpenters, painters etc.) that they would like to impart to others. The Link currently runs on a Friday morning and includes breakfast and lunch. If you would like to see lives transformed and have a Friday morning free, please contact Stephen on 028 7022 0005 or email@example.com
In the Reception we get to help all the wonderful projects within Vineyard Compassion in a very practical, administrative way. The roles range from answering the telephone & walk-ins, in putting data, collating documents, making up project packs, photocopying, laminating and so much more. If you would like to join this team, or find out if this is where you could learn new skills, please contact Steve Frazer on 028 7022 0005 or firstname.lastname@example.org
There are too many other wonderful opportunities to list here in detail. To give you an idea:
If you would like to know more, please feel free to contact Jonny Wilson on the details provided above.
